Wonderful, accommodating personnel
Short visit to this small friendly diner. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful, a really nice and casual atmosphere.
An American diner for breakfast
When I arrived early on Sunday morning, the venue was nearly packed. Given how crowded it was, the service moved really quickly. My wife had pancakes for morning, while I had a breakfast burrito. Both were excellent, but in my opinion, the potatoes with homemade ketchup came out on top.
With the exception of two seats at the bar counter, the inside area was full by the time our food arrived (+-20 minutes).
We both thought the food was excellent, but I can’t really compare it to anything (like another diner).
Our total cost, including coffee, was $28, which seems to be about average.
A Ton of Food
My cousin proposed that we have dinner here after we spent the day in Philadelphia on Saturday. She had previously visited here, so this was a wise decision. I enjoyed some excellent French toast with monkey bread. It was full with mango and banana fruit in abundance. My cousin ordered the morning special, which included crab cakes and eggs. I’ve never had crab cake quite like this one, and we split our breakfasts. The fact that my French toast came with handmade whipped cream was a bonus, even if the potatoes were delicious. An excellent finishing touch to a delicious breakfast.
SUPERIOR NEIGHBORHOOD EATER
This restaurant was something my son, who lives in the neighborhood, has been wanting to experience. Despite the lengthy Monday morning wait, it was well worth it. admired every political affiliation. The food was excellent and the portions were large. Served hot from metal mugs! There are homemade jams, ketchup, and other items here. It will undoubtedly become my son’s weekly favorite as he likes to dine out. Only accepts Venmo or cash. We also got to meet Sam, who was very entertaining.
My new brunch spot of choice!
I went here with some pals, and it’s now one of my favorite places in Philadelphia. The personnel was amiable and provided excellent care for us. Remember that it’s cash only before you go. If you don’t have any cash with you, I believe they also have an ATM there. Get a biscuit with everything you order—they’re that delicious.
